Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor
The NGT Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) is an electro-mechanical vertical conveying system designed to move goods efficiently between different floor levels, mezzanines and production zones.
Available as a standalone vertical transfer system or integrated with horizontal conveyors, the VRC enables smooth movement of cartons, totes, boxes, pallets and sacks while occupying a compact footprint.

Overview
When production, storage, picking or dispatch operations are spread across multiple levels, horizontal conveyors alone cannot complete the material-flow path.
The NGT VRC creates the vertical connection between those levels.
Its electro-mechanical, chain-driven lifting system moves the carriage in a reciprocating vertical motion. The VRC can operate as a standalone material lift or interface with conveyors at the loading and unloading levels to create a more automated transfer process.
Horizontal Conveyor → VRC → Vertical Transfer → Conveyor → Next Process
This makes it particularly suitable for facilities looking to reduce manual material movement between floors and connect multiple conveyor zones into one continuous system.
Features
From Standalone Lift to Automated Material Flow
Standalone VRC
Material is manually loaded onto and removed from the carriage.
Operator / Equipment → VRC → Operator / Equipment
Suitable where vertical transfer is required without a fully automated conveyor line.
Conveyor-Integrated VRC
The VRC interfaces with the facility’s horizontal conveyor system.
Infeed Conveyor → VRC → Outfeed Conveyor
This allows vertical movement to become part of the wider material-flow process rather than an isolated lifting operation.
